We utilize Artificial Intelligence technologies in our workflow and believe in the net good that such technologies will bring to humanity. We’re simultaneously concerned about the economic and social impact that the misuse, overuse, and manipulative use of these technologies will certainly cause, as well as the transitionary struggles that will occur as the labor force—as people—adjust their careers over time to fit into a new job market.
Our policy at Multinewmedia is to utilize AI tools as productivity and workflow tools, and never to completely outsource the creative process to AI of any type.
While we may use generative technologies to create outlines, alternate drafts, and to conduct topical research, we don't use it to fully create direct-to-consumer (or direct-to-business) products or services. We, of course, use AI within scheduling, planning, and support. AI will even reduce our overall need for as many humans working transcription, translation, or other operations, but our goal is to share the benefits of resources saved with the humans involved within our operations, and to further allow them to dig deeper into more creative and fulfilling work.
